Student Resume Builder:
Georgia House Page Program

The Opportunity:

Park Cannon, Georgia House Representative for District 58, is seeking candidates for the Georgia House Page Program.

What is the Georgia House Page Program?

The Georgia House of Representatives’ Page Program is an exclusive opportunity offering Georgia’s students 12 years of age and older to visit the State Capitol and serve the members of the House of Representatives. This program has become an essential part of the services provided to both the legislators and the public. For over 50 years, the experience of a legislative page has sparked many political aspirations and has been a connective link between elected leaders and Georgia’s young students.

How do students apply?

By visiting http://openstates.org/ and entering your address into the search bar you will be able to find your state representative.

You do not need to reside in District 58 to apply to the program.

Once you know your representative’s name, visit the Georgia House of Representatives website: http://tinyurl.com/KindeziGeorgiaHouse and click on your representative’s name to locate his or her office information.

Complete the Page Interest form: http://tinyurl.com/kindeziPage and email or fax to your representative’s administrative assistant to the number listed for the State Capitol office.

After your interest form has been reviewed and approved by your sponsoring representative, you will be contacted by the House Page Director confirming which of your three requested dates has been selected for you to page.

The first day of the 2016 legislative session was Monday, January 11. Please note that the House meets for 40 days, but these may not be consecutive days. Additional Questions?
